Raised for Reptiles. By People Who Keep Them.

Reptile Feeder Insects grew out of our own reptile keeping in Marion County, Florida.

For years, animals and hands-on husbandry have shaped our everyday lives. As our own collection of reptiles grew, so did something else: the amount of live food we needed to keep them properly fed.

Keeping reptiles teaches you quickly that feeding isn’t an afterthought. Different species need different prey, different sizes and different feeding routines — and finding dependable live feeders isn’t always as simple as it should be.

So we began raising more of our own.

What started as a practical part of caring for our own reptiles eventually became Reptile Feeder Insects — the kind of feeder operation we wanted to buy from ourselves.

Today, we raise and ship live feeders from our colony operation in Marion County with an emphasis on consistent sizing, careful handling and straightforward information about what you’re buying.

We focus on the feeders we know and raise ourselves: crickets, discoid roaches, mealworms and hornworms.
